Vivienne Tam Spring Summer 2016 Collection held in Skylight at Moynihan Station this Monday night. As one of the most famous Chinese-American designer in modern fashion, Vivienne Tam presented many remarkable designs in past NYFW. She presented a perfect image of Ming and Qing Dynasty last year.

In the new collection, Vivienne gained inspiration from the increasingly androgynous nature of fashion nature of fashion in 20’s and today’s “street” culture. The looks reflect the perfect combination of Mahjong tiles in 20’s China and art deco elements of 70's teen surfer/skater culture.

Graphic black and white, red, sea green, and accents of fluorescent pink and mint green showed in this season. New collection brought us an expression of crisp cotton, synthesized crepes and techno-mesh layer with handcrafted embroideries and laser-cut appliques.
